Accountancy Age has reported that former Diageo strategy director Jim Grover has joined KPMG as a senior adviser to its consumer markets team.

Grover had been a member of Diageo’s Executive Committee since its formation in 1997, following the merger of Grand Metropolitan and Guinness.   Prior to joining Grand Metropolitan in 1993 he spent twelve years in consulting, initially at Booz Allen and Hamilton and subsequently at OC&C Strategy Consultants, where he was a partner and spent most of his time advising consumer goods companies.
